Wow, Your group has accomplished so much! I loved seeing the garden plants uncovered and surviving after all of these years!I'm sure they are glad to see a little sun! Thank you for caring for this grand piece of history. My sister's beach property, that has been in the family since the 50's, has a fine view of South Fox and a little of North Fox and N and S. Manitou. The property is near Gills Pier and South of Peterson Park. The islands look so inviting and pretty! Thank you for all that you've done.

Sincerely,

gael tryles

Great site. Outstanding job on the lighthouse. Do you have a live web cam for public viewing?

Reply: Thanks. Our Webcam can be viewed at the gift shop of the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum. Since there is no broadband Internet there, the Webcam stream is not available online. Sorry.

Nice to see pictures of Linda Henry, who I knew 15 years ago - now living in central Indiana. We haven't been up to Sleeping Bear or Tawas Bay (another beautiful Mich place) since 2009 - like many, entered into a more constrained life in last year. Good to read abt Leelanau Peninsula people, including Stephanie Mills (but not on this website), who I had the pleasure of meeting some years ago.
