Saturday, June 17, 2017 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
at the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum,
Leelanau State Park, Northport, MI.

“Lighthouse Day” celebrating the 150th anniversary of the South Fox Light Station and the 165th anniversary of the Grand Traverse Lighthouse.

Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum.

Activities will include historic displays & presentations, an historic car show, children’s games & activities, sale of lighthouse-themed items and more.

Lunch will be available for a nominal charge.
 

Visitors arriving by car need a day or annual pass for the State Park.

Non-resident annual permit (Recreation Passport) is $31, based on the calendar year. Non-resident daily permit is $9. Towed vehicle duplicate is $6.

MI resident annual Recreation Passport is $21. The Passport (on the license plate) is valid until the plate needs to be renewed.

MI resident daily permit is $6. Annual Passport for MI residents over 65 with a vehicle registered in Michigan is $6. Annual Passport for bridge card holders is $18. Towed vehicle duplicate permit is $6.

Passports are available at the park office at the entrance to the park near the Grand Traverse Lighthouse.

Cyclists and hikers get in free, by the way (not in the Lighthouse Museum, though).


Events are a collaboration between FILA and our partners at the
Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum to celebrate our respective anniversaries.
